Canadian Goldfields Starts 2026 Exploration Program at Miminiska Gold Project

09:31 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Goldfields Discovery (CGM.V) started its 2026 Fall Exploration Program at the Miminiska Gold project, located in northwestern Ontario, it said Monday. The company also began an "extensive" soil geochemical survey, an airborne magnetic survey and preparations for a winter camp in support of an anticipated winter drill program. Sampling will focus along the prospective trend between the Frond and Wottam Lake areas, it said. The company's shares last traded Aug. 27, closing at C$0.205 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
