T. Rowe Price CEO Sees Growth in Tax-Loss Harvesting

Rowe Price Group Chief Executive Officer Rob Sharps sees tax-loss harvesting as a growth area for the firm and isn't concerned about regulatory scrutiny of its offerings, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing an interview with Bloomberg Television. Sharps said the company's separately managed account business has seen the most emphasis on tax-loss harvesting and tax optimization, according to the report. He said some products in the market are likely to face more scrutiny but that he's "very comfortable" with T. Rowe's approach, according to the report.
