Bitcoin’s (BTC) Price Rises 5% and Breaks Above $80,000
Bitcoin’s (BTC) price is up 5% and trading above $80,000 on Sept. 3 amid a broad market rally. In mid-afternoon trading, Bitcoin was trading at $81,200 as a rally in digital assets that began in mid-August shows signs of accelerating. Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization after Bitcoin, was also up 5% on the day and trading at $2,500.00.
Smaller cryptocurrencies and memecoins were up even more, with Dogecoin (DOGE) rising 10% to trade at $0.09.
