Update: Climb Bio Shares Fall After Early Phase 1 Data for IgA Nephropathy Drug

Climb Bio (CLYM) shares were down 3.7% in Thursday trading after its phase 1 trial data for its experimental antibody treatment CLYM116 demonstrated a 29-day half-life that supports dosing every 12 weeks for patients with IgA nephropathy. A single 320-milligram dose achieved nearly complete protein suppression and lowered specific antibody levels by 60% to 75% over a 12-week period, the company said. The kidney disease drug candidate was generally well-tolerated without any serious adverse events or dose-limiting toxicities, it said.
