Lululemon Shares Drop After Hours on Weak Results -- WSJ
Dow Jones2026/09/03 20:43By Suzanne Kapner
Lululemon Athletica's shares were down nearly 20% in recent post-market trading Thursday after the athletic-gear maker reported disappointing earnings. Sales in the Americas slumped 8% in the quarter that ended Aug. 2, the latest in a string of declines in the region, and the company lowered its sales and earnings guidance for the year.
Its weakening financial position creates challenges for incoming Chief Executive Heidi O'Neill, who will start her new job next week. The former Nike executive will need to turn around sales in the Americas, where Lululemon has lost dominance to newer brands.
