Hawthorn Bancshares Completes Merger With FSC Bancshares

10:17 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hawthorn Bancshares (HWBK) said Friday that it completed its merger with FSC Bancshares, effective Thursday. The bank added that it also completed the merger of FSC's Farmers State Bank unit into Hawthorn Bank. The combined company now has total assets of about $2.2 billion, Hawthorn Bancshares said.
