XRP Is Breaking Through the Sell Wall. Analyst New Price Target

TimesTabloidTimesTabloid2026/09/04 19:03

XRP recently surged 9% on the daily chart. The price opened at $1.3506, hit a high of $1.4779, and is currently sitting at $1.44. That move has pulled the asset directly into a key resistance area that crypto investor and data analyst CW has been tracking. CW posted his analysis alongside a TradingView daily chart, stating that XRP is “breaking through the sell wall.”

What the Order Blocks Show

The chart uses order block (OB) indicators to map areas of significant buying and selling pressure. CW’s chart identifies three sell-side order blocks above the current price, and two buy-side order blocks below.

The most immediate sell OB sits right at the current price range, around $1.47 to $1.55. It carries a volume of 107.69 million and a strength rating of 0.68x. This is the resistance zone XRP is testing right now, as the asset’s recent crash pushed it below this range.

Below the current price, a buy OB near $1 holds 41.54 million in volume at 0.26x strength. Notably, this level held firmly for months despite predictions of a sweep toward levels as low as $0.65.

Two additional buy OBs sit much lower, near $0.52 and $0.43, with volumes of 19.32 million and 50.71 million respectively. XRP has not traded close to these levels since 2024.

The Path CW Identifies

CW states that if XRP breaks through the current resistance zone, “there is no other resistance until around $2.2.” The chart supports that reading. The next sell OB above the current price is near $2.20, carrying a volume of 114.94 million and a strength of 0.73x.

After that, two more sell OBs cluster between $3.10 and $3.60, with volumes of 74.19 million and 88.88 million. The gap between $1.55 and $2.20 shows no significant order block resistance. A confirmed break above the current zone gives XRP about 50% of open space before it encounters the next meaningful barrier.

What’s Next for XRP?

XRP bottomed out under $1 in late July and early August. A sharp rally followed in the second half of August, and XRP has preserved some of its gains. Volume bars on the chart confirm the move was backed by elevated activity, with one of the largest single-day green volume bars of the entire year appearing at the start of that move.

The structure now puts XRP at a decision point. The current sell OB is the test. A clean break above it opens a direct run toward $2.20.
