International oil prices edged up slightly on September 4. By the end of the trading session, the price of light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $0.18 to close at $91.48 per barrel, an increase of 0.2%. Brent crude oil futures for November delivery in London climbed by $0.76 to close at $96.28 per barrel, up 0.8%. This modest increase in oil prices was mainly influenced by a variety of factors, including fluctuations in supply and demand expectations in the international crude oil market. The future trend of international oil prices will continue to be jointly affected by changes in global crude oil demand, policy adjustments by major oil-producing countries, and other factors.
