Zhitong Finance APP has learned that Tesla's (TSLA.US) best-selling electric vehicle model now has the world's lowest price in Tokyo. Due to the weakening yen and generous subsidies from the Japanese central government and the Tokyo municipality this year, the on-the-road price of the Model Y can be reduced to below $23,000. This price is even lower than the cost for a tourist to buy a vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch in a Tokyo watch shop.
