MT newswireMT newswire2026/09/21 23:57
07:57 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. and some of its creditors are negotiating an amend-and-extend transaction that could include new capital from unsecured creditors seeking secured status, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter. Lenders to the company's first-lien loan due 2028 would have the option to extend at par or be repaid at a discount, with unsecured noteholders moving to a first-lien position on equal footing with existing term loan lenders, according to the report. A lender group has retained Moelis & Co. and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, while unsecured bondholders are working with Houlihan Lokey and Davis Polk & Wardwell, the report said. Jeld-Wen Holding did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
