03:53 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Entertainment (AMC) said late Wednesday it has priced a $2 billion private offering of 8.875% first-lien notes due 2031 and $850 million of first-lien term loans bearing interest at SOFR plus 4.5%, with a 1.5% issue discount. The company said the new debt, along with its previously announced $1.12 billion second-lien term loan, is expected to close around Oct. 5. AMC said it plans to use the proceeds, along with cash on hand, to fund a tender offer and subsequent redemption of its 7.500% senior secured notes due 2029, repay existing term loans and redeem Muvico's $903.4 million of senior secured notes due 2029.
