07:15 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- MGM Resorts International (MGM) is discussing a potential bid for People Inc., which owns a roughly 27% stake in the casino operator, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The discussions follow People's withdrawal Wednesday of its bid to acquire the remainder of MGM Resorts, the report said. MGM did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
