PepsiCo Plans $1 Billion Investment in Colombia

06:07 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PepsiCo (PEP) plans to invest $1 billion in Colombia over the next five years, the country's President Abelardo De La Espriella said Monday. The funds will be used to expand production, upgrade operations, and improve distribution networks in the country, Abelardo De La Espriella said. The financial commitment is expected to create jobs, support more than 2,000 farmers, and help local shopkeepers, he added.
