As geopolitical pressure and uncertainty persist, First Abu Dhabi Bank expects that this week's main macro risk will continue to be the Middle East conflict and its impact on energy markets, inflation expectations, and the global interest rate outlook. The bank's chief economist, Simon Ballard, stated that markets will also focus on comments from Federal Reserve officials to seek further clues about the future path of interest rates. In his report, he noted that given the Federal Reserve's unanimous 12-0 vote to raise rates this month, any signals regarding policy prospects will be especially important for portfolio allocation.
