Science Applications Wins $742 Million Recompete Contract for Border Security Systems

09:22 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Science Applications International (SAIC) said Tuesday it has been awarded a $742 million recompete task order from the US Customs and Border Protection to support border security systems for travelers and cargo. The company said it will provide software development, operations, maintenance, upgrades and enhancements under the task order, which was issued through the Alliant 2 contract vehicle, the company said. The period of performance runs from Sept. 15, 2026, through Sept. 14, 2031, the company said.
