RTX Unit Collins Aerospace to Expand Iowa Manufacturing Facility

10:11 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) said Tuesday its Collins Aerospace unit will expand its West Des Moines manufacturing facility by 14,000 square feet to meet growing customer demand. The multi-million-dollar investment will increase the production capacity of advanced fuel distribution systems for commercial and military platforms, the company said. The aerospace unit plans to start construction later this month and complete the project by mid-2027, RTX said.
