NetApp, Oracle Plan Cloud Storage Service for AI, Enterprise Workloads

10:58 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NetApp (NTAP) and Oracle (ORCL) said Tuesday the companies plan to launch a new fully managed cloud storage service. The service will bring NetApp's ONTAP data management capabilities to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, supporting enterprise and artificial intelligence workloads, the companies said. Customers will be able to manage the service through the OCI Console, software development kits and ONTAP APIs, according to a joint statement.
