International oil prices rose on October 12. At the close of that day, the November delivery light crude oil futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose $1.89 to settle at $93.74 per barrel, an increase of 2.06%. The December delivery Brent crude oil futures in London rose $1.93 to close at $106.65 per barrel, an increase of 1.84%.
