Multicoin Capital leads $1.75 million seed round in Trasia Labs, expanding into the Hyperliquid Asian perpetual trading market
BlockBeats News, on July 20, Multicoin Capital, as the sole institutional investor, invested $1.75 million in seed round funding for Trasia Labs, officially joining the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Trasia is a perpetual contract trading platform natively built on Hyperliquid, mainly targeting the Asian market.
Trasia was co-founded by former Multicoin Capital partner and former Stepn team Chief Revenue Officer Mable Jiang and Web3 practitioner Edison Chen. The first web version was officially launched on July 17, supporting both Chinese and English. The mobile app is expected to launch in August, and the Asia Points invitation-based reward program has already started.
The platform currently accesses the Hyperliquid native perpetual market in a non-custodial mode, and plans to launch its own perpetual contracts based on the HIP-3 protocol, focusing on asset categories with high interest among Asian investors, such as AI infrastructure and Pre-IPO. According to the official statement, it has allocated over $35 million in HYPE and USDC to support the Asian equity perpetual market and related ecosystem growth.
