XRP Is A Global Agenda. Here’s 101 Reasons It’s The One
Digital Asset Investor has outlined what he considers 101 reasons for his long-term conviction in XRP, noting recent developments involving the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the XRP Ledger, institutional crypto adoption, and the expected Senate vote on the Clarity Act.
In a video posted alongside his latest tweet, he said that these developments support his view that XRP has a significant role in the broader development of digital assets.
BIS Paper Becomes a Major Focus
Digital Asset Investor’s attention is on BIS Working Paper No. 1374, which examines using blockchain technology to improve the verification of published economic statistics. He highlighted the paper’s use of the XRP Ledger DevNet to record cryptographic information associated with datasets.
According to the explanation, the system calculates a cryptographic fingerprint for datasets and records information on the XRP Ledger so the data can be timestamped and subsequently verified. Digital Asset Investor emphasized that XRP is mentioned 101 times in the paper, linking the figure to his video, “101 reasons XRP is the one.”
He also referenced comments from XRPL validator Vet, who noted that the BIS used the XRP Ledger DevNet for its public verification and immutability properties. Vet suggested that an NFT-based implementation could provide an alternative to the memo-field approach used in the prototype.
Digital Asset Investor explained that the BIS development deserves attention because of the institution’s position within the international financial system. He described the BIS as the “bank of central banks” and highlighted its membership and role in developing global banking standards and conducting research used across the financial sector.
Clarity Act Remains a Key Catalyst
The video also focused heavily on the Digital Asset Market Structure Clarity Act and its expected Senate consideration. Digital Asset Investor discussed the cloture process required to advance legislation in the Senate and highlighted comments indicating that the vote is scheduled for September 15.
He acknowledged that several issues remain under negotiation, including provisions concerning banks, stablecoins, agriculture and other areas of the legislation. However, he also cited comments from industry representatives that substantial progress was made during August and that negotiations could continue when lawmakers return.
For Digital Asset Investor, regulatory clarity represents another important factor behind his long-term XRP outlook.
Institutional Adoption and XRP Fundamentals
The video also addressed institutional demand for digital assets. Digital Asset Investor cited comments from Grayscale indicating that clients are asking whether they should begin allocating to digital assets or increase existing positions. He linked this institutional interest with broader accumulation trends involving XRP and other cryptocurrencies.
He further pointed to data showing increased XRP order-book trading activity and a larger share of on-chain trading.
Throughout the video, Digital Asset Investor maintained that XRP’s market price does not necessarily reflect its underlying fundamentals. He says the gap between XRP’s price and developments surrounding its ecosystem has rarely been as significant as he believes it is now.
He concluded by reiterating his long-term conviction, stating that he has followed XRP since 2013 and intends to remain involved as developments around regulation, institutional adoption, and the XRP Ledger continue.
