A "hawkish" Waller leading the Federal Reserve may trigger internal divisions and market volatility.According to Odaily, Sonu Varghese, global macro strategist at Carson Group, stated that if the nominee for Federal Reserve Chair is indeed Waller, we may ultimately end up with a Federal Reserve that is somewhat hawkish. Kevin Waller has historically been a hawk, although he has recently been talking about rate cuts. If he enters the Federal Reserve advocating for significant rate cuts, he may not have much credibility in persuading others of the need for further cuts. We could even end up facing a seriously divided committee that does not cut rates at all. In the short term, a potentially hawkish Federal Reserve could increase market volatility. (Golden Ten Data)

US Deputy Attorney General Accused of Conflict of Interest for Holding Crypto AssetsSix Democratic senators have accused U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche of violating federal conflict of interest laws by issuing policy memoranda to relax regulations on the crypto industry while holding approximately $158,000 to $470,000 in crypto assets.
