Mettler-Toledo International Announces Strong Fourth Quarter Results
Mettler-Toledo International Inc., headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, revealed a net profit of $285.8 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $13.98 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding certain one-time items—at $13.36 per share.
These figures exceeded analysts’ expectations, as the consensus from five Zacks Investment Research analysts had projected earnings of $12.76 per share.
Quarterly revenue reached $1.13 billion, outperforming the $1.1 billion estimate from four Zacks analysts.
For the full year, Mettler-Toledo recorded a profit of $869.2 million, or $42.05 per share, on total revenue of $4.03 billion.
Looking ahead to the first quarter ending in March, the company anticipates earnings per share between $8.60 and $8.75.
For the entire year, projected earnings per share are expected to fall within the range of $46.05 to $46.70.
